Research indicates that the characteristics we are born with have much more influence on our personality and development than any experience we may have in our life. Which do you consider to be the major influence?

The personality of a person describes a lot about them therefore it have a great significance. Some people believe that personality completely depends on the traits inherited by human whilst others have contrasting views. I have a notion that the major influence is the development after the birth yet genes have some influence in developing personality.
To begin with, the observation a child have after the birth is the major source in the development of personality. Education of personality depends on upbringing and the surrounding. Child becomes a person they observe and admire, so being around positive people automatically optimizes a person’s personality. The characteristic adopted in the early childhood in accordance to the surroundings have the first and main impact on personality.
In addition, the development of personality relies on the life experiences and the influence of parents and friends. The changes can be noticed after having various experiences in life, therefore the personality development occurs because of such life experiences. Moreover, friends play a major role in influencing the characteristic, for example successful friends develops a winning personality whereas, negative friends have opposing effect. Experiences and friends are the core factors in personal development.
On the other hand, a trait inherited by the off springs is also a crucial reason of personality. A gene carries the physical characteristics as well as some metal traits from the parents. It had been noticed in a survey that the children with good personality have parents who already possess a great personality. The DNA of a human being also contains the personality traits which is the reason behind the personality of some great people.
Finally, after considering all the factors I had made a perception that other factors influence the personality more the characteristic with which somebody is born however, I am not denying those characteristics do have some importance.
